I have a cyst on the back of my knee and need to see a knee specialist now. Guess when the appointment is.......six weeks from now !!!!!!! It really hurts and is mimicing deep vein thrombosis each time it bursts, but obviously not life threatening. The discomfort is just making me want to eat eat eat!!!! I'll be damned if I end up with all my weight back on though. Anyone had similar and have advice ?

I am so sorry to hear that you have this problem. It's not easy to do LT when you are healthy but to have something this serious on your mind and not cheat is remarkable. My mum had DVT a few years back and it was really stressful for her and for us as well. I can imagine the pain you are in most of the time and hopefully the next 6 weeks for your appointment will fly by really quickly. I wish you luck with everything and sorry I wasn't more helpful with your problem.
