just to echo Sarah and Cathy, Oatbran (1.5 tb in attack and 2tb in cruise) is a must. Wheatbran is no substitute but can be added at 1tb per day once you're in cruise.
I found Oatbran in Sainsbury - 'Mornflake' brand, in an orange tube and it calls itself 'Oatbran Sprinkles' I think. Next to the Porridge oats. I drew a blank in my local Asda and Tescos. You might be better off trying a health food store such as Holland&Barret they had it too. I get mine from a local cooperative that sells wholefoods and fair trade foods. Daily Bread Co-operative

As for eating it - make sure you eat it *in* something - as porridge (you need to use a fair bit of skim milk), or mixed in yoghurt, or baked into muffins or bread, there are several recipes in the recipe thread. I'm amazed anyone manages to eat it just off the spoon!
I've never tried it any way but cooked in galette, cake or muffins. He recommends to drink some water with it too...
Since I discovered the diet, one or the other of the brans has been sporadically in short supply so I always buy in bulk when I go to the organic shop. You guys are lucky that supermarkets sell it (they say one does over here, but not in my local one of it!)
Ha ha lol @ gazelle, galettes are lovely, you may fine the first couple dont turn out right but you can imagine how it would have been had you got it right, and see where you went wrong. Cook them on low for a good while before you try and turn it over
