Can anyone tell me if this would qualify as hex b as I am really missing porridge but don't have it as I don't want to use all my milk allowance to make it but would try and make this with water

If the serving size of oats is 28g, then yes, it would qualify as a heb.

you need to have it with a scan bran to be the full hexb. But scan bran goes lovely in it also you can make it with water

You don't have to have the scan bran, however the full HExB includes a scan bran (or a ryvita according to the magazine) so you might as well have it. I DETEST scan bran and so do not have it and SW's site and my C says that it's fine to count it.

Be sure it is the plain oat so simple as flavored ones don't qualify as a HeB

Thanks britmum,but I ended up having hex b 28g of porridge oats and made it with water and then poured a muller light on the top . Wasn't bad either

If you love porrige, the dorset cereals, apple and raisin or rasberry and cranberry porrige is a HEXB and lovely too!

So just to confirm.. If you have oat so simple, you have to have a ryvita? Which one can I have and it is just 1 ?
