Apologies, a day late. I can't believe its October already.

I need to get my bike out too but keep finding excuses not too.
 
I will add something later regarding October Challenge.
I've had a vicious cold which has persisted for the last five days or so.
Plenty of lozenges, decongestant and fruit trying to shift it.

Meaning I have struggled to do anything at all.
With being asthmatic it definitely affects my capabilities when I'm unwell.
It also means I dread getting severe colds or the flu as it affects me much worse than people without asthma.
I can complete my exercise when I'm normal without using my inhalers at all.
 
@Chubby Ghost you do seem to be having a particularly bad run at the moment. Hope the cold lifts soon.
 
Will set goals later but I did 3km walk last night and 15 minutes jiggle this morning.
 
I'm over the worst of it as my lungs feel normal today compared to what they have been like for the last week.
Unfortunately being asthmatic has it's complications when it comes to colds and flu's etc.

I'm going to set myself a target of 966 km on the exercise bike.
That's comprised of 23 days @ 42 km over the whole October period.
I'm going to go back to my usual distance and exercise duration.

The last week or so has been just one of those things with illness that happens from time to time.
Every six or seven years I seem to get a particularly bad cold which affects my asthma.
I'm going to attempt my usual routine tomorrow as I feel nearly fully recovered.

Maybe with my bad run injury and health wise the last few months I should be worried.
But I'm not particularly religious and don't feel some higher entity has got it in for me at the moment.
Everyone has to deal with peaks and troughs of life.

I do two sessions most days @ 35 minutes, 92-100 rpm, 36-40 kph & 120-130 bpm.

First day of exercise in October completed with a decent effort.
Hopefully have a relaxed few months from now without injury or illness.
Meaning I can move towards the 200 lb goal by late this year or early next year probably.

Hi all, I have done some exercise but haven't recorded it....need to see if I can find a record of it and log it here.

Current Distance 358.5 km this month out of 966 km.

Starting to get back to around my previous distance during my exercise cycle session.
I'm definitely well over the heavy cold I had the other week.
Only issue weight has crept slightly up during the intervening period with the cold.
Another factor a period of lack exercise due to accident and a bit of cheat week or so regarding eating.

It's getting and feeling easier now with the exercise again.
With the exercise and a bit more control of diet.
Just need to get a good push towards the 200 lbs mark by Christmas.
