Off Topic- Sauna's...Does It Make You Lose lbs?

Self explanatory title... does it make you lose lbs? If so, is it water weight you lose, or is it your metabolism...???

I've been finding it hard to get back to SS for the past 3 days. Normal eating, calorie counting more than anything, haven't weighed myself in a while and I'm very anxious.

Had 1 Soup today 138cal, 400cal lunch (west indian soup with 1/2 yam) - 2 coconut rings (200cals) loads of water... everyday been having about 800cals...

Just wondering if the sauna can help with some weight...and if so is it a good idea?

Think it would just be water, I think it is more to do with sweating out the impurities than weight loss

yep. Nice clean skin:cool:, but weight loss would only be there until you eat or drink, then the water will be replaced.

if you go to an infrared sauna you'll burn calories, or so it's said. But I never saw scientific proof for this claim.
You lose pounds if your dehydrated by the sauna, its something wrestlers do to shed the pounds quickly, they wrap themselves up in plastic bags and sit in tghe sauna.
Itys extremely dangerous and dehydrating yourself will make you very ill. Dont lose weight this way because its harmful to your health and doesnt last - completely muck your metabolism up.
