Thanks for the support gang. I am drinking wine!!! A whole bottle every night!!!! So my resolve goes too and I have anything. I was shocked to have put 3 pounds on (talk about head in the sand) so today I have been perfect. 3 Cd meals and loads of water. Trouble is I have so many 'do's' over the next week I know it will be impossible to keep 100%
 
well done for keeping on the straight and narrow today wilma!

the more you keep on the straight and narrow the more weight we'll lose. if you manage to keep to it half the time you'll lose more than if you don't stick to it at all, and so on. so well done for sticking to it today. you've made more progress than if you hadn't... if that makes sense. keep at it honey.

Hi all.... been a busy bunny today, but christmas is just about sorted now. been choosing shopping, wrapping, writing and posting lol
wonder if i can count that as exercise??? lol

hi everyone been busy Christmas shopping, works do on Thursday, tried to be fairy good, had a tuna and bean without dressing from the starter menu for my main, but had icecream and choc fudge cake for desert, left most of the cake though, and only had water to drink ! then yesterday last day at work until after Christmas there was mince pies crisps and biscuits, didn't have the mince pies but had a some biscuits and crisps, hopefully back on track today until Christmas day.

i'm out for my first non cd meal of the holidays tonight. am dead excited and dead scared lol....
hard work having to choose something after all this time, but i have to start introducing carbs so i can enjoy xmas dinner with some wine!
 
I'm not going to drink over Christmas - I don't drink that much when I'm not cd ing anyway, daughter always needs dropping off/ picking up from places, so I find it easier not to drink, (will have to odd glass of wine or baileys if shes not out and about) so I guess I've got used to not drinking and I haven't had a drink since starting cd at end of Aug.
 
Morning all. Sorry havent been around much - been stupidly busy! the joy of the run up to christmas! Chloe slept 15 hours last night - woohoo :D Other than that not much to report apart from that I havent been a very good girl diet wise :( think it is highly unlikely I will be getting back on track until the new year now...

well girls, i totally went for it at the meal last night.
thought of it as a trial run for xmas, see how it made me feel etc.
had no nasty side effects, and have no "hunger" today for food, in fact all i've had so far today is a porridge.
i enjoyed the food, but hasn't made me want to go back to eating "normally". not sure if thats good or bad???
 
Good that you have found it easy to get back on after enjoying a night off. What are you planning to do over Christmas? I am hoping that I can avoid carbs and fatty foods. Aiming to at least STS between now and the new year.
I am OK all day but still cheat at night!
You have done so well - not far to go now. You will soon be there. X
 
Wilma, I'm the same as you,ok all day but cheat at night! wish I could break the cycle, not really big cheats just things like half an oatcake with a bit of low fat philly on or a nibble at oh meal, but I just wish I could stop doing it.

i'm going for 2 packs a day and smaller portions of whatever i want over xmas... not for the entire 2 weeks though lol.
gonna keep it on the low carb side, and treat it as maintenance and see how i go....
got a weigh in tomorrow and then one on sat, so i can see if i gain over xmas lol
 
wont mind if i dont lose, but dont wanna gain too much
 
Hi - I have about 2 stone to goal and don't want to put on. But I will be happy if I can STS till new year then get back on as if it was my first time.

I am thinking 2 packs and a 'be carefull' frame of mind for the next couple of weeks. I feel so much better than I did this time last year there is no way I am thinking it OK to put on.

Hope we do it!!!

well officially i've got 20lbs to go, but my new aim is 10 stone something.... dont care what the something is lol as long as its under 11 stone, so i've just found another 4 and half lbs to lose lol!
but hey, its still less than 2 stone to lose, and this time last year i was looking to lose over 10stone!
 
I plan to stick to cd, but I think I'll be moving up the plans, so I will be having food as well, have weigh in today ( not looking forward to it after night out and last day at work nibbles) so will know more later.
