Oh my gosh - help!

Please please can somebody help me!

I registered for the first time at SW today. The consultant who normally hosts the meetings is off for two weeks, so there was somebody in her place who wasn't really able to explain how it works to me.

So I've paid my money, got my books - I've even read them - but am totally and utterly confused as to where to start.

What day do I start on?
I'm guessing on each day I can have as much free food as I want?
then there are 2 healthy choices a's and b's, is that right? Could you have 2 lots of cheese if this is a healthy choice on that day - one for a and one for b?
and then there are syns? How many should I be having a day?

What else! It sounds super confusing!

Please can anyone lovely out there help me, I want to get started losing weight as soon as poss!

each day ya can choose if u want to do red or green

your healthy extras - a's are milk and cheese and b is bread ect it will tell u in ur book on the green or red side which ever ya doin what u can have as a healthy extra

syns - u can have up to 15 a day, i started last week and was advised to start on 10 a day, i have been livin on soleros which r only 5 syns yum :)

i made a 7 day plan, it should be on this page or page 2 for my first week and that was fine to have if ya wanna take a look

That is really bad that the stand-in didn't go through the plan with you and you should definately mention it to the regular SWC when they are back.

You can choose whether you do red or green days. You can do all of one or alternate them, whichever works for you. Yes you can have as much free food as you like for the day you are on.

HE's, yes you can have to lot's of cheese as 2 A choices or an A and B if it is available for a B choice. My tip for a HE B choice is Alpen light bars. You can have 2 as one B choice which makes it 2 snacks!

Syns - it is recommended that you have 10-15 per day but that is sometimes varied depending on how much you have to lose

PS. I do mostly green days, check out my food diary in the food diary sub forum if you want any ideas

at first you think you will never get into it,fill in your food diary for the week,best to write down everything each day on paper as you eat it (not the paper)
list each item putting whether it is A B or syns (try for max 10 day)
at end of week transfer to food diary - Good luck

Hi spritzy, that is sooooo bad to just leave you with books and no explanation:eek:, I thought if consultants were off than another qualified sw consultant takes the group. It is very daunting at first good luck any questions shout up hun xx

Yes it can seem quite confusing at first but once you get used to the plan it is so easy to follow

Good luck. Have a look at SW website at www.slimmingworld.com. There is an example of a 7 day menu on there to give you some ideas.
