D.E.V.I.N.E honestly, the best I have had in a very long time. And only 2/12 syns on red or EE. I had it on red with mash and roasted butternut suqash, carrots and parsnips.

I must admit I know people rave about these but I thought they were awful - very fatty and very little meat. Won't be bothering again.

Would you mind posting how much they cost as I love the sound of them but would have to travel to get to an aldi..? Lamb gets pricey when you are feeding 5 people...

I think they were £4.99 for 2 shanks. But so worth it.

I was in Aldi today and yes, they are £4.99 for two. They are in a rosemary and mint sauce. The whole pack weighs 750g, though I don't know how much of that is meat and how much is sauce!!

I've never had a fatty shank! LOL!

I love the Aldi ones, such good value compared with the other supermarkets. Minty ones are syns, as you say, but the red wine sauce ones are FREE! They taste so indulgent.

    YUM.
