omega 6 Radio 4 The Food Program This might explain the munchies

Just been listening to this peeps and its worth having a listen to. Apparently eating too much omega 6 foods counteracts omega 3 foods and can lead to an attack of the munchies. I have put a link on here for a list of foods which contain omega 6 for reference. It might be worth watching these foods to see if they have any effect on you if your having a munchy day and don't know why. I'm not scientific in any way so cann't comment on it but I'm always open to try and understand what causes these things, if it works for you great, if it doesn't, I tried lol.

OMG so basically ALL MEAT? No wonder i'm always starving on a red day, and meat is full of water, so we wee and we eat and then wee and eat some more.

It definitely makes some kind of strange sense. Good post hun! xx

I bet some people will be delighted to learn that a McDonald's cheeseburger has Omega 6. :D

Very interesting list. I worry about getting Omega 6 at all as I'm a vegan, but it seems I'm getting some from the vegetable oil I use for cooking. Reassuring.
