On a weigh in roller coaster - help!!

Hi everyone.

I'm new to this forum and relatively new to Slimming World. I joined 7 weeks ago as a friend of mine had been going for a couple months and was doing really well. Having always battled with my diet (I'm terrible for eating with my emotions) I decided to join as I used to be quite slim but over the last few years over 2 stone has crept on! So...I thought I'd give it a go! Here is my story so far

Week 1 -4
Week 2 + 1.5
Week 3 - 2.5
Week 4 +1
Week 5 -2
Week 6 STS
Week 7 ??? (predicting a gain tomorrow)

Total - 6lb

I'm really struggling at the moment, I go up and down every week and I'm finding it all very demotivating at the minute!! I thought joining this forum and sharing my journey with you all may help me find the motivation I need! I've been following other peoples journeys on here and have found it quite inspirational and hope you can now all help me!! I don't know how it all works but can i post my food diary in this thread too?!

I have weigh in tomorrow but have had a TERRIBLE week and fear the worst! :s again!
My target is to lose 2stone btw!

Hi Kerry,

Welcome to Minimins.

You can post your food diary here too but if you are posting a food diary every day it may be better to post it in the food diary section. However that may help you either if you are following the plan but not losing or to help you keep on track. Are you managing to stick to plan or are you finding it difficult because you keep falling off the plan ?

I know it's hard but this isn't a race. 6lbs is good particularly if you are managing to eat lots of food that you enjoy (are you ?). Hopefully SW will help you develop good eating habits that you can maintain after you get to target and therefore keep the weight off.

Good luck for tomorrow but whatever happens, please stick with it.

Thanks for your reply. I only gained 1lb at weigh in but worry that the bad weekend may catch up with me later! But I'm back and focussed on plan now so fingers crossed I can turn it around!! My will power just isn't as good as I thought it would be when i started SW!
