Hi Everyone!
I started the Cambridge Weight Plan on Tuesday the 8th of January 2013 and one week later I'm still going .
Day 1, 2 and 3 were ok. Didn't allow myself think about cravings and experimented with shakes to see which way I prefered them. I have discovered that well blended with 3 ice cubes and a straw works best for me. Banana and Chocolate are most definitely my favourite flavours. I like the Chicken and Mushroom soup and the Mushroom soup.
Day 4 - the cravings started creeping in as my mother was baking cakes and buns for my sisters birthday but I did not give in.
Day 5 - My sisters birthday party begins with crisps, chocolate, jellys, fizzy drinks and buns, finishing off the evening with a chinese takeaway. I am delighted to say I did not succum to my surroundings like I would have at previous times.
Day 6 - I helped a friend take 6 children to the cinema and KFC but did not allow myself take a sneaky chip or bit of popcorn
Day 7 - Thankfully the temptations are gone for a while and got through the day, having a little less water than normal though
I am thrilled to be starting week 2 and extatic that I have actually stuck to the diet. Without a doubt it is hard but to be honest, I know that I was never hungry when reaching for that bar of choclate or packet of crisps. I'm hoping this diet helps me retrain myself to eat small portions and not to snack, especially on junk food.
Last year two of my aunts were diagnosed with diabetes and my size 20 clothes started feeling tighter. This along with the fact I want to feel like I fit in on my graduation day in August has made me determined to make a drastic change for the better.
Today I have had a shake for breakfast, a soup for lunch and a chicken salad for dinner. I get to start the bars today so I am looking forward o that a little later on
How is everyone else finding it?
Best of Luck
