Onion Squash

I bought an onion squash today, because it looked cute.

Do I prepare and roast the same way that I do BNS?

Does it take longer to cook?

Does it taste of onion?

I've never had one,I'm guessing all squash is the same? Or try google? Let us know what it's like,I'm known for buying them just because they look cute in kitchen! X

You just cook em the same way AFAIK. Ive got two Im putting in a curry at the w/e as they didnt have any pumpkins and they looked kinda similar but mini versions Someone else on here had one though and said it tasted really bland, but I forget who it was now. Hope it was just a dud :sigh:

I just googled about a bit and its the same as a BNS.

OMG that is to die for!

I peeled, deseeded it and cut into slice, sprinkled with salt, black pepper, hot chilli flakes and garlic, just like I do to BNS and roasted - Absolutely lovely!
