I'm all for trying new things, but we don't have a waitrose near here. I wonder how long it will take to cook them!

I have tried ostrich egg years ago, and it was nice but don't know if I'd pay £18.99 for one!

I love ostrich steak. Had it last night... was really yum!

It will be free, as it's a lean meat and very good for you!

Where can you buy Osterich steak from!?

I think the egg would be a bit of a novelty item rather than a cupboard neccessity lol xx

I had ostrich steak last year in a restaurant in Jersey - it was delicious. And I am sure it is free - it is a very lean meat.

They are huuugge!! But £18.99 sounds like a rip-off to me! Surely a dozen chicken eggs would do the trick- whatever the trick is!!!X

Our butcher sells it. He can get any exotic meat if you place an order. We have had the ostrich, crocodile and kangaroo. All are delicious!
