Waitrose are going to sell ostrich eggs!!

We have been discussing trying new things - but I think I might give this one a miss!!

I'm all for trying new things, but we don't have a waitrose near here. I wonder how long it will take to cook them!

I have tried ostrich egg years ago, and it was nice but don't know if I'd pay £18.99 for one!

I had ostrich steak last year in a restaurant in Jersey - it was delicious. And I am sure it is free - it is a very lean meat.

Ostrich eggs!!! aren't they huge....I don't think I could eat them even if I had the money to buy one.

They are huuugge!! But £18.99 sounds like a rip-off to me! Surely a dozen chicken eggs would do the trick- whatever the trick is!!!X

Where can you buy Osterich steak from!?

Our butcher sells it. He can get any exotic meat if you place an order. We have had the ostrich, crocodile and kangaroo. All are delicious!
