    hello everyone :)

is anyone else getting the new iPhone 4? i pre-ordered mine sim-free from Apple on Tuesday, so i've booked Thursday off work so i can be there when it arrives - can't wait to play with my new toy!!

i've seen people mention some ww-friendly apps. which is best?

i ordered it with Apple because they were the only ones to actually start pre-orders on the 15th, and the only way to guarantee that my iphone would be delivered on launch day (thursday 24th).

i also didn't want to be tied into a contract, and Apple are selling them sim-free and completely unlocked :)

i didn't think T-Mobile were doing pre-orders yet? last i heard, you could only register your interest on their website, which doesn't gaurantee you a phone, it just means that they'll send you an email telling you when you can order... i kind of stopped paying much attention to it once i pre-ordered mine though, so i might be wrong!!

i should add, i'm really pleased i ordered mine when i did (about 5 minutes after pre-orders started on the apple website) because orders that are placed now won't be delivered until 14th July!!

yeah, i'm getting the 16gb iphone - £499. but i've signed up for a 12 month simplicity tariff with O2 for £15 a month, so overall, it's actually cheaper than getting it on a contract, and i'm not tied in for 18/24 months :)

having it completely unlocked will make it worth more if/when i decide to sell it :)

this will be my first iphone :) i've got a ipod touch, which i love - i'll be selling it (and my current phone) to make back some of the money i've spent on the iphone.

lol. i think you should be proud of yourself for not being pathetic/geeky enough to spend the last week and a half glued to various iphone related websites like me! haha!

the "refresh" button on my laptop is somewhat tired now!!

will all be worth it when my shiny new gadget arrives next week though!

my other half is not so excited - he was less than impressed when i told him how much it cost and keeps whittering on about how much other stuff i could have bought with that £499! lol.

i don't have any ww apps on my ipod, but i'll be getting iwtchr for my iphone :) thanks for the recommendation, btw, starlight :D
