Original Pah, what am i doing wrong?

I wouldn't worry too much about the slow loss. Give SW a few weeks and if you still feel that the losses aren't quite what you had hoped, then think about another plan as SW isn't for everyone. Your losses are good though and keep plodding on. Don't worry about certain comments as you can't please everyone all of the time, what is offensive to someone, isn't to someone else.....just be yourself and don't let anyone tell you any different. Good luck, this site is great for support xx

Try 1-2 lemons a day, in food or drinks. Is a really good boost to slow weight loss.

Other than that, don't give hun. You will definitely get there, keep going.

Hugs :)

I feel bad now for this thread... silly really. I really dont mean to offend anyone on here. I figured if i loose a lb a week by xmas i'll be over a stone lighter. I actually feel better for eating all these veggies and fruit so I'll def perservere.
Thanks x

I started with 95lb to lose, and it's taken me 12 weeks to lose my first stone.

But I did it, and although the weeks with the 0.5lb loss were hard, they were a step in this direction and I had to keep telling myself that.

I started at 16st 11.5lb - so almost 7 stone to lose - and was previously a massive binge eater. I went from that to 100% on plan and have never lost more than 2.5lb in a week (and that felt like a miracle week!) I average 1.5-2lb a week at the moment.

If I average 1lb a week (as I know it will slow, even that is optimistic) I will reach target in March 2014. 2014! But I'll get there. And so will you. You are used to big losses coming from a VLCD, but remember on slimming club diets, 1-2lb a week on average is considered normal, and some people lose slower than that, but still lose and get there in the end.

Hi Jezzi, you should be proud of yourself for not giving up. A stone lighter is great :). March 2014 will be here before you know it and I think its very practical to think on the lines of lb a week. I think this is what I need to aim for. this is an ideal way of loosing weight and getting healthy hey :) x

Don't worry about offending people. Pretty much anything you say will offend someone in the world :)

As for Xmas goals, check this out

You didn't offend anyone at all!

You'd be amazed at the difference losing a stone makes. You'll be fine x

My consultant said my body is adjusting to it, It just seemed a bit odd when the 3 other people that started same week as me have lost about 7lbs each... made me wonder what id done wrong :)

You have moved from one diet to another so were already eating better things those with big losses may have come from eating what the Hell they like to sw hence BIGGER changes .... When you first embarked on a diet I bet your losses were better than they are now .... Just remember it is your personal journey noone else's and all our bodies work differently

some weeks i put on some weeks i lose some i maintain but if i divide my weightloss by number of weeks ive been on sw ive actually not done to badly 2 st in 24 weeks thats over a lb a week and that includes a few abroad holidays where i ate more synfull foods and drank more alcohol

For me hon this was a really useful thread to have come across - it's helped me approach SW with a more realistic expectation as, like you, I assumed by "dieting" I would lose several pounds in the first week perhaps and then a steady 2-3lbs a week. Reading that it might be more gradual than that is fine, but now at least I won't feel disappointed when I might lose just 1-2lbs a week but will feel that I am adjusting my lifestyle for the long haul.

So not offended here, very grateful! lol Good luck! x
