Pancake day!!!

Ok, been doing a bit of research!

Aunt bessies ready made pancakes are 1.5 pts each
Tesco ready made large pancakes are 2 for 3pts
Tesco value batter mix, made with one egg, whole mix is 5pts
Tesco pancake mix bottle is 7pts without the milk!!

I suppose making the batter from scratch would be around the same?

Traditional Pancakes

0.5 per serving
makes 12
cooking time 15 mins

Ingredients

1 medium egg
1/2 pint skimmed milk
125g flour
1 spray low fat cooking spray

1) put the flour into a bowl and break the egg into the centre

2) Add the milk gradually beating into a batter.

3) Pour the batter into a jug.

4) Heat a non-stick frying pan.

5) pray lightly with low-fat cooking spray.

6) Pour in 3 tbsp batter and quickly swirl the pan to coat the base.

7) Cook until the batter becomes firm and bubbles appear.

8) Flip the pancake over.

9. Serve with fresh lemon, artificial sweetener or sugar (at a Points value of ½ per teaspoon).
