Made a pasta n sauce quiche (just the mild cheese and broccoli one made with water and mixed with eggs) becase a salad at lunch even when it has carbs in it rarely keeps me going till dinner so then I have to eat early then I get hungry at night.. So I thought I'd give it a go.. But is it really high in syns? Just read I have to syn it at the highest value (22 on red) even though I'm on green :/

Is this correct? :( x

My consultant said that you would only count it for the syns (if any) in the pasta and sauce. as long as you are eating it as a meal and not snacking all day on it then its fine.

You don't need to syn it as you are having it as part of a meal along with superfree foods. If you were having it as a snack then it should technically be synned.

Use the lower of the syn values. Pasta n sauce is high on red because you don't get to eat pasta as a free food.
