According to my LL Counsellor, Pauline was paid to do the programme and is being paid for a year to keep it off. She was less than happy about it, feeling that normal clients had to pay and the cost was part of the incentive to stick to it. She felt it unfair that Pauline's incentive was getting paid although I am pretty sure she wouldn't have done it had she not wanted to. But it does raise an issue about keeping it off. Would she be keeping it off if she wasn't getting paid? I'd like to think so.
There seems to be an industry of celebs that make their money taking off and putting back on weight. Natalie Cassidy, Kerry Katona, the girl from Steps. I think it goes to show that you have to want to put the work in and do it for yourself or the results don't last.
