    Hi there,

I'm new to this site and I'm thinking about doing the Cambridge Diet after my GP told me that looseing weight would help my symptoms of PCOS. I just wondered if I would be allowed to do Cambridge even though I take a drug called Metformin?

Can anyone please tell me if this is allowed?

Thanks for reading my post and for any advice that you can give.

Im not doing CD but I do suffer from PCOS. My doctor actually took me off Metformin while Im trying to lose weight, he intends to put me back on once I reach goal though.

Might be worth discussing it further with him :)

I was taken off Metformin before doing the diet because of the side effects I was getting. I did LL.

I don't take any medication now.

I don't need to, because the weight loss has taken my symptoms away!
