Peoples Opinions of Coffee?

I've been wondering if it's dehydrating?? TMI follows!

I was drinking decaf, and didn't really have any problems with "my pipes" (as they are called on here, LOL!) but changed to Gold Blend as I love it. Anyway, I've been suffering quite a lot from blocked pipes since the change, and I kind of recall that caffeine can dehydrate or did I make that up? I wonder if I'm drinking the water and the coffee is negating it? I drink quite a bit, probably 6 big mugs a day.

Gold Blend quite strong and also Douwe Egberts filter.
Very few "PIPE" problems on LL.
12.5stone gone - what can I say!
I do drink at least 4ltrs water daily and a tub of water flavouring a week which keeps things flowing!
Just find what works for you.

For the second half od the diet, I mixed all my shakes entirely with coffee. Filter coffee, not instant. Not that it makes any differece.

And always leaded, never de-caff!
