Hi, what I do is make my peppermint tea (as long as it is leaf tea then you are fine to use bags... I do) and add the shake powder to it and whisk as per normal, and viola, a choc-mint shake!! If I want it cold, then obviously i just let the tea cool first. If you want to drink something a little more exciting than water, make a really strong peppermint tea with little water, let it cool and add sparkilng water to it. It actually looks like wine!!! LOL
    Hope this helps x

Oh , sorry, forgot to mention. Yes you can heat up the shakes. Hot mint- choc... yum. And you can add coffee to a hot vanilla to make a latte. Also, if you like horliks or white choc, you use hot water for the vanilla and add sweetener to taste, is quite nice too. x

I had the vanilla one cold with coffee in last night- it was gorgeous!! Tried the mint tea with the chocolate shake but didnt like it, Im not that keen in mint tea so that was probably why. Had some green tea this morning (Posh Spice swears by it lol) so that made a change to coffee too.
