Pesto and sundried tomatoes!

Not strictly an induction food because of the pine nuts.......but could I have a small amount and would the carbs be massive?!

They say we are allowed tomato too, would that include sundried?

I had an amazing starter a few weeks ago of Portobello Mushroom with grilled goats cheese on a bed of rocket and sundried tomatoes drizzled with pesto atop a crostinni......

I will obviously be omitting the crostinni!

Hi how are you doing during your induction phase, i am coping quite well, I have even gone over to de caf coffee.

I used pesto in induction - if it's ready made you can check the carbs. Be careful on the tomatoes though - they stall some (me sigh :( )
Yes, tomatoes and onions stall quite a few of us. I love both so I do have them but only occasionally and in small to moderate quantities. I feel that the extra taste they give add to my enjoyment of the food I have cooked so they are worth the slight risk! As ever, moderation is key.
