We're dog sitting mum and dads dog at the mo!

He's called Leo and thinks he's one of the family!!!!! This is what I found when I came downstairs this morning! xx
Wow he's so cute! A Golden Retriever? He looks like my girl Penny, she can often be found asleep in the sofa, much to my husbands horror! (He thinks she should be invited onto the sofa, I'm the opposite!!)

Yeah he's a golden retriever. Leo the Lion! ROOOAAAARRRR

He's the softest thing I've ever met! In fact he was eating hula hoops off my youngests fingers this morning! xx

Golden retrievers are pickles! When I go out I have to cover the couch as Charlie sleeps on it & then sleeps on the bed with us lol!

Lol I'd love Penny to sleep on the bed with us but we already have the cat most nights and husband says no because Penny is a big dog and he likes to move about! I've told him where the sofa is haha!!

Our dogs aren't allowed upstairs :( littlest one has atopic dermatitis caused by an allergy to house dust mites, so has to stay away from carpets and soft furnishings. Think my son would have him in bed with him though given half the chance lol. And the big puppy hasn't quite mastered getting down the stairs yet, he's all legs! He looks like bambi trying to stand up lol

Our dogs aren't supposed to be allowed upstairs.. Penny doesn't as she only associates upstairs with baths! Rosie however is upstairs whenever my husband is! They are inseparable, she follows him everywhere and he can't bear to say no! To prove how much of a daddy's girl she is, here's a pic of her flopped on my husband:

Our eldest dog (a border terrier cross) suffered from ear infections constantly for months, our vets were excellent and referred him to the animal hospital where they ruled out a food allergy first by trying him on royal canin hypoallergenic food (very expensive). There was no change so he had MRI scans, blood tests and eventually an allergy test and it turned out that he's allergic to house dust mites. He has bad skin too. He's currently undergoing immunotherapy (injections at home to boost his immunity) The vet told us the worst case scenario which was that the injections could cause him to go into anaphylactic shock and possibly die.....I spent the next couple of days in floods of tears! But since he started having them he's improved so much! :) no more ear infections :)
He's on his same dry food but with a squirt of essential fatty acids

awww bless him! Ash is on James wellbeloved food which is also hypoallergenic, it's free dorm cereal, grains, eggs, dairy etc. She seems to be enjoying it as well. Apparently Bakers is the dog food from hell equivalent to us living on junk.

Anyways her meds seem to have worked and she is much better and her ears look much clearer. think prob the different food will be helping xxx
