physillium husks

please can someone tell me what physillium husks are, for and are they allowed on SS?

Hi you buy them from health food shops, the powder thickens shakes so you can make porridge, and they also help keep you regular.
They also come in tablet form.
Personally I cant get away with them, and nothing except a laxative once a week keeps me regular!
