iv got my meeting tonight so i'll eat when i get home. Iv got a pork fillet that needs eating but by the time i get home it'll be too late to start cooking a meal. Can i just throw it in the slow cooker with some veg? if i can how long will it take to cook?

Usually 8 hours on slow or 4 hours on fast. But you need to have just enough liquid to cover your meat & veg or they will dry out, so you're better off making it some kind of casserole.

I dont know about cooking meat on its own, sorry. I think you can do it with/without stock but I dont know how successful it would be, I've never tried it, there's plenty of slow cooker sites out there if you google.
