Porridge!!

I'm confused:confused:
Now many would say dosen't take much and that may well be true:)

I like porridge for breakfast but the box say's it 142 cals made with water and my book say's it's 133 made with water.. I know there isn't much difference but when you counting cals 9 cals could be put to another use..
What do other people count it at?
 
Your book? I'd go for whatever it says on the packet, as the different brands vary in calorie amounts.
 
I think your right Fattack..I was just trying to squeez out a few more cals :D
It's a calorie counting book I was on about..
 
Aldi do some lovely porridges with apple cinnamon seeds cranberrys raisins etc in them :) think the one I have is 189 but the oats are less processed than normal and it's really chewy an nutty :)

Sounds yummy. I'll take a look next time I'm near Aldi. The nearest one is a bit of a treck.. I use old fasion oats. I don't like the over prossed ones.
 
Yeah, deffo go by the packet, it'll be bang on. And measure very carefully if you're strictly accounting for every 9 cals ; )
