PP Menu - Can someone have a check for me please?

Hey guys.

Guna trial 1 week of the new pro points plan from next tuesday to see how i fair up. Just wrote a menu - now to me it seems pretty heavy on carbs as im not used to eating this many - which is very worrying and im sceptical as im not sure how my body is going to react .... but i can only try right?

Anyways here it is, would be greatful if someone could have a look through for me and see if im doing it right/wrong etc

Tuesday 16th November (Run 1hour)

B- 30g porridge 3pp
s.s milk 2pp

L- 2 slices wm bread 4pp
70g tuna 2pp
1tbsp lf mayo 1pp

*banana after run 0pp

D- 200g wholewheat pasta 8pp
1/2 jar vegetable pasta sauce 4pp
1/2 chicken breast 2pp
salad 0pp

total = 26pp

Wednesday 17th November (short 2mile run)

B- 30g porridge 3pp
s.s milk 2pp

L- 2 slices wm bread 4pp
70g tuna 2pp
1tbsp lf mayo 1pp

*banana 0pp

D- grilled chicken breast 4pp
steamed vegetables 0pp

S- 5 oatcakes 10pp
2tbsp bbq sauce 1pp
cucumber 0pp
lf natural yog 100g 2pp

total = 29pp

Thursday 18th November (Run 1hour)

B- 30g porridge 3pp
s.s milk 2pp

*banana 0pp

L- 150g jacket potatoe 3pp
90g cod 2pp
salad 0pp

D- 5 oatcakes 10pp
30g peanut butter 6pp

S- carrot sticks

total = 26pp

Friday 19th November (Cake day at work!)

B- 2 egg 1 egg white omelette 6pp
ham 2pp
tomato ketchup 30ml 1pp

L- grilled pork loin 120g 5pp
100g wholewheat pasta 4pp
steamed vegetables 0pp

D- slice wm bread 2pp
tbsp lf mayo 1pp
salad 0pp

S- carrot sticks 0pp
cake in work .....?pp

total = 20pp (without cake)

Saturday 20th November (night out!)

B- 2 slices wm bread 4pp
2 boiled eggs 4pp
tomato ketchup 30ml 1pp

L/D- 100g wholewheat pasta 4pp
Pasta sauce 4pp
Steamed vegtables 0pp

Now, it will probably be more near 2 bottles of rose wine on my night out so ... 36pp

total = 29pp
slush fund = 24pp/49pp ... 25slush left

Sunday 21st November

B- 2 slices wm bread 4pp
2 grilled sausages ?pp
tomatoe ketcup 1pp

L/D- 1/3rd shortcrust chicken & gravy pie (approx 200g) 15pp
Steamed green beans 0pp

total= 20something pp ... need to work out the sausages when i get them

*no doubt there will be a few 'treats' today but wont factor them in yet just incase, on the off chance i dont have any :rolleyes:
 
Looks great to me Tanya, and dont worry about the carbs, as long as you are not going over your PP, then it will be fine chick.

Good luck with WW, I am loving it since starting it on Wednesday.
 
your menu's look great to me too, but the one thing i will say is that my leader said you had to eat all you points allowance per day ie 29 pp for me.

hmmm Yeah thats what i thought but going from what i eat now to that menu will be a massive change for me anyhow so im not too worried about that at the minute. Just wanted to make sure ive got all the principles right etc.

There will probably be snacks throughout the day that i havnt factored in - lf yogs and some more fruit so the yogs will add an extra coupla pp's.

You might want to check the points on your bread, alot are 2pp for 1 slice and 5pp for 2 slices.

How does that work?!!!
 
There are no .5pp so they are either rounded up or down.
That means a slice of bread may actually be 2.4 points so it is rounded down to 2pp,but when you have 2 slices it is 4.8 points so that is rounded up to 5pp.
Hope that makes sense.

I know that make sense but I just keep it as 2pp for the bread I eat, each slice is 2 so I keep it like that :)
