probably a stupid Q about vinegar

just looked in my book and it is says Balsamic dressing is 2.5 syns per tbspn, then looked at vinegar and it says FREE for all types, so then does that mean Balsamic Vinegar is therefore free? I'm about to roast some tomatoes in garlic and balsamic vinegar and wanted to know if I had to syn the vinegar?
