Psyllium husks as breakfast?!

Hi,
It sounds like the right stuff,it's a bit like fine bran,so I suppose you could say it's powdery:) I mix mine up with slightly warm tetra and keep stirring until it thickens and the lumps disappear.It reminds me of sago(we used to call it frogspawn at school!;) )I don't mind the texture,but I can see why some people couldn't stomach it!I hate it in the soup though,makes me feel sick:sigh:

Hi,
I put one teaspoon in soup shake and blend. It thickens it just enough to eat with a spoon. To make porride I shake 2 dessertspoons on top of hot shake and whisk with a fork. If you put more than a teaspoon in blender it is like wallpaper paste. You need to experiment. Oh - and don't leave it to stand because the husks absorb more water and it is disgusting!
Worth te effort to go regularly LOL !!!
