Hi,
It sounds like the right stuff,it's a bit like fine bran,so I suppose you could say it's powdery
I mix mine up with slightly warm tetra and keep stirring until it thickens and the lumps disappear.It reminds me of sago(we used to call it frogspawn at school!
)I don't mind the texture,but I can see why some people couldn't stomach it!I hate it in the soup though,makes me feel sick:sigh:
