Thank u for the post.
At the moment boredom hasn't set in so porridge and shakes and the peanut bar for me, I had the Thai chilli soup today, not bad If I am honest but it has mushrooms in it and I am allergic!!! Great!!! I put loads of ice in to the blender and it makes a slushy ice cream consistency, very yummy
How are you finding it? I keep dreaming of being thin and looking nice in new clothes, mind set is still focused I can do this, we can do this xx

Oh ho ! that is bad news. Never tasted it but read raving reviws abt the thai chilli & I am fond of thai food ...it is my fav.

i think it is being discontinued as the LLC didnt want me to try it just in case i fell in case i really enjoyed it then would be upset as it wasnt available anymore - not sure if she has lots left - it didnt look like it - but guys if you really wanted i could try and get a couple of packs - but pls dont get your hopes up just in case she doesnt have any tomorrow.

Hahaha!! It's ok Pymster - whilst i would kill for another Thai Chilli, you don't have to go out of your way for it!! Plus, i'd have to send you something back in return (porridge perhaps?!?! :p) xxxxxx
 
Hey Mrs B, porridge or banana shake - im really liking that too!!!
i stick loads of ice in the blender with all the shakes and then blitz for about 2-3 mins and it comes out like slushy ice cream - yum yum!!!

the thai chilli was nice but as its got mushrooms in it its a no no for me !!! i still have a pack of shepherd pie that i havent tried as yet !! not really looking forward to it but will try and gee myself up and try it ! x
 
Yeah i wasn't a fan of shep pie!! It smelt ok at first, but then i tasted it - it was just a mushy mess...it vaguely resembled shepherds pie, but also had a texture of dry pot noodle!!!!!

I only have it now and then!! I have the chilli con carne as a soup as i don't like the "baby-food" texture too much!!!

I do the same with shakes!! Ice makes all the difference!! x
 
someone else was saying somethign abtou Chilli Con carne as a soup - sorry to be dim but is that just by adding lots more water - when i made (on day 1) i think i was so excited and relieved i was doing the plan that i ate it all thick and gooey - then on day 2 when i made it up i really struggled and it was making me gag.
some girls in the class swear by it!

Yeah - instead of what it says on the pack - i used about 400mls hot water instead!!! I can't deal with the thick consistency!!! (I use 400mls for most things, unless i feel my fluid level needs a top up - then i'll do 500-600mls for shakes etc!!)

I'm also gonna try asparagus again - i really enjoyed it at the time, but think i made it too thick, and it put me off!!

I think we just have to keep trying things in different ways! x
 
thanks hun, i do about 400 in the shakes plus shed loads of ice - the asparagus tasted like peas - and i dont really dont do peas!!!!

how is the water intake going? i know some people struggle with drinking so much

I'm lucky if i can drink 1ltr a day (maybe 2.5 if you include the shakes etc) But i know i have to keep drinking - it helps with the loss i've heard, so will get some more down my neck!!!

Hmmn - i didn't think it wa like peas...though i like peas!! It was more celery tasting to me! But will try it again anyhoo!!! xxxxxxxxxxx
 
i dont mind water - i drink about 4-5 litres a day - i buy a 2 litre bottle in the morning, drink that by 11 ish then fill it up from the water machine and drink that by 2/3! i just keep topping up my glass and try not to think about it !
it sometimes feels as it my organs are swimming!!! too much water intake but hey if the losses keep coming then i am happy! someone on here wrote that just think everytime you go for a wee that you are getting rid of fat :) so thats what i think when i am up and down like a jack in the box going wee at night !!!
 
Hahahaha!! Brilliant idea!! i think in theory - it's actually acetone that is in your urine and saliva, a result of the ketones...but can't quite remember the science!!!
I much prefer it being fat being flushed away!! Just having 500ml strawberry and ice shake, and a large mug of coffee!!!! Lovely!!! xxxx

So today is Day 10 – where did the time go …..:D
Feeling as if the diet is a part of life now – no longer thinking I am dieting or I cant eat etc – now I am so focused that nothing will get in my way
The last few days have been fine – still drinking 4-5 litres a day, enjoying the packs and sticking to it.
Have been thinking a lot about food not actually wanting to eat it, well I mean not actually really dealing with cravings or anything, but the other day I was dreaming about eating a rack of lamb – now guys I dont even like lamb!!!! :p It could be that I have been watching a lot of cooking programmes on tv, come dine with me, master chef, the big bake off!!! So perhaps sub consciously I am craving food!!!
These boards are amazing – I never thought they would be so much help and so encouraging – thank you to all of you x
I have been invited to a bbq on Saturday – I am deliberating whether to go or not – I think its too early in the process to be confronted with yummy food and to have to try and resist – I think I might say no, I am doubting myself as to if I might be tempted, and peer pressure, I might end up just having something, and i dont want that. I know for me it will be wrong and I don’t want to eat anything so I don’t think I will put myself in that situation so soon.
Sorry to ramble – I think its just jumbled in my head so I am just trying to write it down to make sense of it !!

I need to ensure I don’t put myself in situations where I might be tempted and I think this is one of them, I have two parties to attend in October and I have already started geeing myself up in terms of not eating and how I plan to eat my packs and when etc – but this weekend is too soon. :eek:

I have been doing a lot of thinking over the past few days – my favourite past time at present… :cool:
I love food – why I do I don’t know as yet – but I have already starting sowing seeds of portion sizes, healthy good quality food intake and trying to master the difference between hunger and greed. In the past I know I would eat food fast so I wouldn’t register how much I would be eating or that the food I was eating wasn’t the best in terms of healthy, also I would eat fast so the good side of my brain didn’t take over and stop me!!! :rolleyes:
I now want to learn how to tackle food and learn that I need to eat to live not live to eat

Hey sweetheart!! Great entry - and you're not rambling on - you sort out your head however you need to!!
I think (personally) the BBQ would be tough for most people to deal with, and if you're worried the people around you won't support you in just having a shake, and if you feel you may be worn down by peer pressure, or just temptation, then just say no hon!! Plus, it's gonna be bloody freezing!! Say you have other plans and curl up with a "hot chocolate" and a good book!!!

I'm also doing the same as you regarding making sensible choices when we are allowed to eat!! Am on tumblr all the time, finding healthy recipes and workout routines that i CAN do!!! It's great fun!!!

Hope you get your head sorted soon, and make the right choice for you!!!

Thanks Jodie xxxx its a no to the BBQ for sure!!! i havent told many people i am doing LL and i prefer it that way - having to explain why i am having a shake or why i am not eating will just be too hard, my sister and brother in law have been invited too adn my sister (who is great and very supportive) thinks it may be too soon too.
tumblr hey - Ive never heard of it but you know me, im on the case straight away !!! hey whats the hot chocolate like really? it scares me that it might be gross so i have never tried it x
 
I like it!!! I'm not a fan of the choc shake cold, so add a sweetner and hot water ( i blend everything with a hand blender) and bobs your uncle!!! If you like it cold, you'll like it hot!!!

My diary on tumblr is the link in my siggy (REALLLY small!!) Hahahaha!! I follow loads od healthy eating/fitness inspired blogs and it works wonders for keeping my head straight!!
I also call it my food porn addiction!!!! Hahaha!!
