question about fat intake

I have confused myself (which isn't hard). Is the fat content worked out via the 100 gram of the product?
Or is it the amount of fat per weight of product ,(that's how i have been doing it.)

And then is it 15 grams per meal or 15 grams a day.

OK Tina it goes like this. Avoid any food that has more than 5 grams of fat per 100 grams of product. This is total fat, not just sat fat. Then on top of that don't eat any more than 15 grams of fat during any meal, making a total of 45 grams of fat per day as your upper limit, any less fat than this is fine, in fact the lower the better. Hope that makes you less confused!
