oh good idea jim, never thought of that. looks like im buying loads of sausages tonight.
dont know if its already been mentioned but the sausage and egg or bacon an egg muffins are delish and can be eaten cold or 30 second ping in micro and they steaming hot. i make a big batch and freeze and defrost as required .

I was going to cook the full pack of sausies yesterday then discovered they were 5 days out of date so went in the bin grrrr!

oh bum...tbh i take very little notice of sell by/use by dates on anything except milk/cream...
