Re-feed part way through Week 6

Hi everyone

A query for all you knowledgeable Lipotrimmers out there (of which sadly I am not one yet).

I am coming to the end of week three - as you may know it has been a long week! Looking at this site I have seen a lot of talk about re-feeding and not drinking alcohol whilst in ketosis. Obviously I don't want to put myself at any risk but need some advice about the following.

My lovely other half has booked us two nights at a hotel in Manchester on 24th and 25th July for my birthday - no kids, no worries etc. Now I had planned to eat healthily throughout this period - had even wrote myself little sample menus (cause I'm very sad like that :rolleyes:) but having read what has been written about needing to re-feed for at least a week before drinking I wanted to ask if you think the following would be OK....

Part way through my Week 6 on the Friday 17th July start re-feed. This will give me the seven days until the weekend away where I will still eat really well and have some moderate alcohol intake. Then get right back on the TFR on the Monday 27th and carry on with that into Week 8 and beyond.

How does that sound? I know some will say just carry on with the full TFR thoughout the weekend. I'm going to be firm now and say no, not this time. This weekend away has been the silver lining in the clouds for a long time and I want to relax (a little) and live like a slightly slimmer person for a few days.

Any thoughts....If it sounds like the above is ok then all I will need to do is find out what "re-feed" actually entails in order to do it properly.
