Re-starter Support Needed

Hi Guys

looking for some support on my s&s journey. Firstly my aim is to lose at least 2 stone before xmas, so that for the first time in 5 years I can have a xmas picture taken with my 2 boys.
I have started and stopped this journey so many times and made up excuses to stop, but saw a picture of myself taken by my sister in law without me knowing and I was embarrassed and disgusted with what I saw.
Please anyone on this diet who can give some advise and support is very welcome. Its been a difficult year, marriage breakdown, losing my job, friendships deteriorating and finally starting a new job in a new field and having confidence issues.

Firstly massive hugs and sorry you've had a horrible time of it recently.

It is super supportive on here and also on the S&S facebook page which is a closed group so no one on the "outside" can see your posts either.

If you haven't started yet, I suggest eating super low carb first for at least a week. I was doing this prior to starting S&S and because I was already in deep Ketosis (as well as sick of bacon, meat and butter by this point lol!) I found the transition to S&S easier: The Basic Ketogenic Diet - mmmm

If you have started well done! I know it's hard but the results are well worth it. Make sure you are drinking loads of water (I tend to drink 7-8 pints a day spread throughout the day from waking).

Use the S&S planner on their site religiously too and maybe start a diary. It really helps and really kept me on the straight and narrow.

Make little mini goals towards your main goal - it won't seem daunting then. I bought a dress in my dream size and tried it on weekly. It was motivating when I was finally able to get it past my shoulders and bum lol. Then being able to actually zip it up!
