Re starters question??

Hi there, before I ask the question I must say hi to Summergurl and Yasmin!!!!!!!!!!
You both did fantastic last time, I did well but not as good as you guys.
Can I ask you you re starters are re starting?
If it because you have gained weight, can I be cheeky and ask how much you gained in what time lenght?
I lost 3 stone and was a size 10, I was so made up and vowed never to gain the weight back, however four and a half months later I have gained almost 4 stone :cry:.
I enjoyed my refeed but as soon as I went away and started eating badly again,the food was sooooo good and I just eat and eat.
I just wonder if its just me or is there anyone else the same?
Being over weight effects me in so many ways, when I walk past shops I see my reflection through the window and I just want to cry!!
I just want to be slim (but I also want to eat what I want)

You are not alone!

I had stabilized around 11 1/2 stone, that was five months ago and once again turned to comfort eating and have regained 3 1/2 stone.

I have returned to Lipotrim today to stop the land slide as I was 18 stone at my heaviest and do not want to go back there.

It has taken me a good few weeks to get my head back into the zone again.

I am a restarter too - I lost 2 1/2 stone June last year and kept it off for a good while but it has slowly crept up 1 1/2 stone. I did 10 weeks last time but never made it to goal so this time I want to lose what I regained plus another 2 stone.

I only have myself to blame for the gain - went into self-destruct mode over summer. I also stopped exercising which i have learned is crucial for me to maintain a stable weight. I find exercise seems to curb the emotional eating somewhat.

I have found restarting really hard and even had a failed attempt back in June. This time I am through week 1 and feeling a lot more positive (1st 4 days were ghastly). I think that having already lost weight then regaining it we know what goes wrong and it's going to be a case of being really vigilant post LT.

Really, the hard part begins when we finish TFR and need to work out what is going to work for us to be able to maintain.

Hi Floridagirl, I remember you! I'm so sorry you've had a hard time keeping the weight off, I really think you could maybe do with some kind of counselling (like you get with LL?) to deal with why you eat? You only say that the food 'was so good', but you just ate & ate- so thats something you know you need to deal with- portion control and stopping? Yo-yo dieting to that extreme is placing your body under awful pressure- more so than people who gain a little and lose a little over & over.
I re-start Friday morning. I've been maintaining for nearly 3mths and want to try to get as close to my original goal as possible. Then the fun will start! LOL! I only have 3wks worth of shakes (plus one weeks maintenence) as my pharmacy won't 'let' me do it any more as my BMI is too close to normal, so a friend who couldn't do it kindly 'donated' her shakes to me!
Like Mini though, I need to get my head back 'in the zone'- I've got very used to eating again...

wow you gained 4st in how long florida? The eating malarky really isnt easy is it :(

I lost 6st 10lbs in 22 weeks then I gained 1st 3lbs in 11ish weeks .... i had 4 holidays, 2 of which were all inclusive. I've now been on TFR for 3 weeks and have lost all my holiday weight and an extra 0.5lb and now am just 24lbs away from goal :)

he 4 stone was not all from Florida, I went for 3 weeks and gained one and a half stone but then went on two other hols and lots of meals out with friends (who I couldnt lunch with whilst on Lt) You did amazing summergurl and you ve not much to loose, wish I had your will power!!!
I am just so gutted because at the moment I look like a mess and its my own doing, I know it will come off with LT but I want it off over night ha ha!!! xx

LOL well florida, you know you can do it as you have done it before. Its mind over matter. You know you want to get back to where you were before so you will do it :) There is lots of support on here and you know that so keep yourself occupied, drink plenty of water and heres to you being a big LOSER!! again :giggle: xxx
