    Hi everyone,
I'm new to this site and stumbled across it after starting the CD and looking for some support/answers. I've also never written a blog!!
I'm on day 14 of sole source + and have officially lost 7lbs. But today, i'm feeling tired, miserable and above all else sick. I can't even stomach the thought of another shake and I can't swallow the bars without wanting to vomit.
I'm seriously considering switching to WW and i think it may suit me better. I did a degree in nutrition so know how to eat healthy but chose CD for the faster results. Any advice??
    Thank you in advance xxx

HI Lady Mahayla! I know how you feel - a VLCD plays tricks on your body sometimes and you might find that every couple of weeks you have a bad day or two. The key is deciding if you can keep strong over the tougher times to keep the fat burning away and losing the weight in this fast method. It IS tough, and you are doing REALLY well. If you like it, I would suggest having some peppermint tea to keep your stomach calm, and drinking your water hot if you can, in teeny sips - both help keep your nausea down. You might just have picked up a little bug or virus, and in ketosis, it's easy for something really tiny that you'd probably not notice on a "normal" diet to knock you off balance. I hope you feel much better soon, and well done for your losses so far! xx

you can do it! positive thinking. i've just left ww and started cd again. i was breastfeeding and couldn't do cd til now. really slow weight loss - min 0lbs max 2lbs.

slow weight loss for me is disheartening. i need to see the difference asap or i get bored.

    hope you stick to it.

try adding more water to your shakes so that they're not so thick and sweet. also change bars to the peanut or cranberry ones as they're not as sickly sweet. try tetras if you haven't they're really nice and more like a proper milkshake.
