recipes......... find me something nice!

hi, tried a few recipes and although i'm not a fussy person i havent enjoyed many at all! just made the shirley's pie thing with pasta n sauce & smash, and it's ok, edible. made the curry sauce - toms n mushy peas etc and not sure about that. made the chick pea cake and really didnt like that at all, what is wrong with me? i need some fab ideas to keep me on track and save me eating batchelors noodles, pasta or rice for the rest of my diet days !

Nothing wrong with you at all - I don't like any of those recipes you mentioned either.

I suppose it depends what food you enjoy eating. If you have any recipes that you used and enjoyed pre-SW can you may them SW friendly by tweaking the ingredients. I'm not talking about weird substitutions like smash in a quiche or chick peas in a cake, but simply frylight/oil, fromage frais/cream and so on.

If you like pasta and rice then your can make all sorts of pasta sauces (eg carbonara), chilli (meat or bean), lasagne, and curries. Check out the magazine or some of the SW books to get you started and then once you have a bit more confidence try adapting 'ordinary' recipes to be SW friendly. Basically whatever you fancy! But if you're looking for something specific - just ask.
