if in oven about 15/20 mins just check every so often and see if its still raw inside, once you've done it a few times ul be ok with timings. The stew is a no brainer and really easy to prepare and great on a cold day

Ooooh brill.. thanks you two..! can you use a grill thing for veg too? cos i love stuff like that..

i was a veggie for a lorra lorra years.. so i can cook amazing quorn food.. and i love home cooking.. i just cant cook meat.. lol!!

Slo cook pots are great for joints of meat or mince .... you just put it in and leave over night - and then you have meat that falls apart.

Chicken Kebab

2 Chicken breasts
1 tbsp cajun seasoning
1 tsp chilli flakes
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp lemon juice (jiffy is fine)
2 tbsp l.f.nat yogurt
1 tsp salt

Cut chicken into bit sizes peices. Combine all the ingredients together and marinate for as long as poss. At least 4 hrs.

When marinated, cook on a griddle pan, under the grill or in the oven. Serve with salad.

These are better than any takeaway chicken kebab!

I make these when I come in from a night out. It really feels like I am having something naughty but it's all free!

Another one is a mixed grill. Fillet steak, gammon steak, bacon, bowyers sausage (1 syn), mushrooms and jacket spud. Yum
