hi ladies (and gents).

I am a long time lurker and infrequent poster here. I started my vlcd journey back in september. My weight then was 13 stone. I did the full LL program, from september til January but unfortunatley had to stop due to some difficult finacial circumstances *sigh*
my weight when i stopped was just under 10 stone. I did manage to lose a few more pounds on my own, but have been finding it a bit of a struggle 'going it alone'. My eating was becoming erratic and I have been petrified of gainng, especially as I have not yet reached my final goal of 8 1/2 stone.
But life is back on track now and today I started the cd1000 plan, which I hope will give me the structure i need to say goodbye to that last evil 20lbs. I thought I would come back here and try to 'join in' a bit more, as this time i am going it alone without an LL group to moan with weekly!

so I plan to stick to the program 110%. i am also excersizing everyday on my crosstrainer, as i would love some muscle tone. One of my old school chums is getting married this summer and i want to go to her wedding with arms like madonna! In a size 8 frock! (I never thought this wold be anymore than a fantasy, but i am so close now it's scary!)

Guess what!! I'm Katie too AND I'm 27 AND I'm a mum SNAP!!!!!!, just gave up college so no longer a student, and unfortunately have a bit more than 20lbs to lose! more like 150 of the evil things!!:eek:

You should be really proud of yourself to have stuck it out on your own instead of finding an excuse to give up, with this kind of determination you'll lose your last pounds in no time and get those Madonna arms!LOL

Today i had my first weigh in on cambridge100 plan. i have been going since monday, so this is day 5.

I've lost 5 lbs!!!!! i am soo happy.
