Resist list

I forgot to post my end of week total... Last week I resisted 556 syns!! It would have been more, but I didn't resist my sons birthday cake or party food on tuesday!
 
Wow- well done mummyhelen! LD Hopefully I will have a nice long 'resist list' next week. I don't expect to be 100%, but just knowing I have made some good choices and resisted some of the junk food and alcohol should make me more :)
 
Today is too full of temptation! Just been out for lunch with the kiddies and my friend. Had a healthy jacket potato and resisted the scrumtious Rocky Road they do at the cafe.

Later I'm going out to dinner, where the restaurant is having a crab, lobster and champagne special menu tonight, so I may well have to resist more temptations in my path. For a start, do I enjoy the inclusive glass of champers or go for a lower syn gin and slim? And how many syns for a glass of bubbly?

Then there's bound to be some tempting desserts... Oh it's hard to be good sometimes!
 
You may well be able to have the champers guilt free - it should be better Syns wise otherwise why would models drink it??!! :D

lol. Well I indulged in the champers, just the one glass, and it was lovely!

So my evening of resisting... It actually turned out to be a four-course menu. But I tried hard to select the healthiest options. I had a crab cake entree, with a lobster mousse, topped with caviar!

Next course was a lobster bisque (I opted to not have the oil and cream finish! And I ignored the bread basket, too!).

For the main I had a lobster stir fry with rice vinegar, noodles and vegetables. The whole meal was actually very light, quite small portions, but absolutely divine!!!

I asked for a coffee instead of the dessert and felt that I had made good choices. Although it was probably way over my syns for the day, I didn't mind because it was just such a lovely dining experience.
 
Even if it was over your syns for the day- imagine how much worse it would have been if you hadn't resisted all those other things :)
 
ok how is this for resisting 2 doz panccakes
2 chocolate sponge
2 victoria sponge
2 madeira cake
2 doz shortbread
and 8 empier biscuts
should be more but run our of stuff yep u got it xmas coffee morning at school and xmas fair at nursery but i could eat it all but i wount :)
