rice flavourings??

Heyy I'm after some ideas for flavourings for rice that my 4 year old daughter would also like.. I'm not very creative so all ideas welcome

presume you mean long grain rice? I cheat and use the batchelors savoury rice as syn free the savoury one some of the others have a few syns

You could also cook the rice in a knorr stockcube?

I make a savoury rice pack into a kind of Egg fried Pilau by cooking it, and simultaneously cooking a scrambled egg in a frying pan till you get little golden bits and chuck the cooked egg into the cooking rice for the last few minutes. Syn free and hubby loves it!

Ooo I also do spicy tomato rice by cooking some normal rice up with a tin of tomatoes, some chopped onion and peppers and adding spices (you could add herbs instead the little one doesn't like rice?), tastes lush with chicken or prawns

Thanks for the ideas defo going to use them .. got loads of rice in the cupboard so these ideas will make it more appealing for us thanks
