Rolled Oats

Yep - the kind that take at least a few minutes to cook. Instant porridge has a higher GI I believe. Jumbo porridge oats are my favourite!
 
Yep tesco own brand are ok. Any "instant" porridge is not ok as it is partly processed and therefore has a higher Gi rating. As unprocessed as possible is best when it comes to Gi.
 
I also get oats with oat fiber, as they're even better. I've noticed alot of companies if you get with fiber ones, they cheat and use wheat fiber, which isn't as good as oat fiber.
