Hi Ruth,

I'm MinnieMel's friend IRL - and she wanted to introduce us. I am considering moving over to JUDDD from TFR ( SnS/LL).

Anyway, when I have a chance I plan on reading through your diary and a few others.

Hi there!!!

Welcome to the lovely JUDDD forum :) everyone is lovely so you'll feel right at home in no time!

Good luck with moving over!

We love you too! Especially as you provide a home for those of us too lazy to start a diary (I work on the basis that if I had my own diary I'd have less time to contribute to yours and everyone else's on here!)

Awwwww :) I feel loved!!!

Are you well and did you have a good day?

Woke up feeling pretty good this morning and still full!!! Calorie count for yesterday 1296 but with that exercise I'm hoping I'll be fine ;)

Didn't have a beer as we went to Bradford and the restaurant wasn't licensed so I had a magnum and I enjoyed it soooo much! Plus I had no starter and no rice and just enjoyed my mixed grill- utterly delicious!

I do have half a grapefruit and some cherries for breakfast this morning but I will see how I go and/or if I feel I need it, then it's always something to fall back on!

Looking forward to Tapas tonight with the girlies! May see if I can share some just in case as its five dishes for £10 which is a lot!

Just having a green tea and some fizzy water to ease bloating as I had some naan bread lol :)

Aiming to do half an hours workout again and also walk to work and back through town which takes around 30 minutes just in case.

Hope you all have a lovely day!!

Yes thanks Ruth x Sounds like you had a lovely time too and thats a brill final cal total, good on you. I was browsing through another forum with a Juddd section last night and there was a thread about the magic of Juddd and the positive effects it had on the members, most noticed vast improvements by week 6 onwards but they included improvement in inflammatory conditions (thinking of your tum) and also excema and psoriasis , thought I would mention it , thought you may be interested :)
Have a lovely day to day x

Oh can you post a link?

Morning Ruth,

I learned a while back that tapas means lid or top (as in a jar) and what there were was a little taste of what was in the jar served on its lid (I.e. olives, etc). So those five dishes are likely to be little nibbles. A lot of people treat them like appetizers. So if you go for this as a main meal - you might be able to stay very close to a down day.

I hope you have a good day.

Oh wow that sounds great- thanks for mentioning it! I did choose JUDDD because of its 'healing properties' with allergies and stuff as I have a lot of complaints that way- just passed down from family members!
Really looking forward to the next few weeks and watching things change!

How are you feeling this morning?

Is it DD/ID/UP for you today?

Hiya!

Yes they're small meals just cooked in a REALLY bad way! Its usually about £4 per dish but I have a voucher card and its 5 dishes for £10 which is excellent, last time I did this we were WAY too full to move so I may share and see if I can get my calories under 500! Thanks for the tip :)

Also I may be good and not have sangria hahaha!

Will post the menu below and what im thinking of having!

Hope you're well and that you have a lovely day!

Its another DD to get my days back on track and weigh in tom so should be able to stick to 500 cals x
Here is the link, hope its ok to post it as its another forum ?
~~* JUDDD MAGIC *~~ a survey.... - Low Carb Friends

Looking at this site, Low carb has long been considered a positive way of tackling autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. It works sooo well with juddd. I follow the eating and exercising guidelines put down by mark sissons in his blog marksdailyapple.com, and use juddd as an additional weight loss and health tool. I appreciate it may not be for everyone, but is worth a look if it may help you.

Yep the americans tend to follow low carb alongside JUDDD although this is not necessary, I like Juddd cos its so easy no special foods no restricted foods etc, on my UP days that is and I eat what I like on my DD as long as its within my cals. Dr J says in his book that what food you eat actually makes no difference to the way the diet works, although some may find that it works better alongside low carb can't see that it makes any difference to their losses though, they seem to be on a parr with what I have experienced.
But thats what so great about this diet you can basically do whatever you like diet wise as long as you stick to your alternate day allowance, suits everyone really just wish I could convince more people to start it as I have really found it life changing and I am a serial dieter, I honestly believe that I have found a WOE that will allow me to eat foods I enjoy and yet still lose weight :D

ETA that comes across a bit anti low carb , what I am trying to say is that you don't have to low carb to be successful just in case any newbies thought it was part of the plan x
