Samaritans Info Request

I've had some news which I need to talk to someone (who doesn't know me) about. I'm planning on phoning the Samaritans, but I need to know......

Do phone calls to the Samaritans show up on your phone bill?

It's not that all you lovely people on here couldn't help or understand, it's just that everything is muddled up at the moment and I'm not sure that typing it out (so that it makes sense) is possible at the moment.

Yes i think their number would appear on an itemised phone bill, how about emailing them, you could ask if they would call you back (not sure if they would but it's worth asking) I hope they can help you x

On the website it says 'Please note that if you call us from your home phone, Samaritans’ telephone number will appear on an itemised telephone bill'.

If it's something Women's Aid can help with their website says: 'Will the number show up on my phone bill?
The Helpline number will not show up on BT landline phone bills. If you have another service provider you will need to check with their customer services team'

Whatever's wrong, I hope it can get sorted soon.

Could you call them from a payphone? Or a friend's phone?
