Sample pack

Well my uncle dropped me round my sample pack order tonight. Since i wont be able to start diet for another week due to a lastmin order from the boss to go on a business trip - grrr - i decided to sample the packs so i know what to get when i order next week.
I was abs delighted with all the shakes. Had a quick taste (sticking my finger into the powder lol) of hazelnut, chocolate, vanilla, latte, red fruits, strawberry, chocolate and vanilla crisp and caramel and pleased to say i thought thsy were all lovely. Think vanilla crisp is the fave and chocolate crisp the least fave.
The bars were amazing too. Had a nibble of milk and dark choc truffa, choc and vanilla and yog and lemon and think i actually prefer them to kitkats, lion bars, mars etc!!

However-the meals were a different story... The mushroom pasta and chilli con carne were alright but it went downhill from there. The tomato soup and chilli tomato soup both made me want to wretch!!! The others were barely palatable. I guess ill just have to live mostly on the two i liked and concentrate more on shakes. I initally planned to have the 4 packs a day plan as it seemed easier but thinking now a protein meal may be better!

Still-im optimistic about it and cant wait to start!!

Play around with what works for you hun

If you dont like the meal packs there is no need to have them. I had of lot of spicey spaghetti and meal packs at the start. Now I mostly have shakes, porridge and thai soup.

See what works for you, you can mix and match 3+protein days with 4 days.

Did you make all the meals up and sample them all??
 
I was just wondering that as well. Seems a waste to open them all up. If the products are anything like the Cambridge ones, you have to use them after being open for so long so if you've opened all the shakes to dip your finger in, you're probably going to have to throw them away. Wouldn't it be better to just wait until you get back and start then using the sample pack?
 
Yep I made up all the meal packs in the sample pack to try them. Dont think it was a waste - i wanted to know what i like before i order and start the diet 100%. Dont wana be put off if i cant stomach one of the packs. I couldnt have done the week of the sample pack 100% as there was so many that wern't for me and i def would have strayed. Thought that was the point of getting lots of samples. Tho if ppl can do a full week on the sample pack with flavours they dont like then i salute u/am jealous - im such a picky eater :( (tho not picky enough considering my weight!).
Each to their own i guess.
