Sarah's Target & 10K Mission

Hey girls!

Didn't win any money but had an awesome day!

Had 2 wines, a gin & slim and a Pimm's so not too awful.

Almost ended up with takeaway on the way home but instead made a fab sw carbonara. Yumma! Deffo an NSV as I'm usually one to fall off the wagon after an off plan meal!

Wore this today, Lil, and felt a million dollars. Although my new Aldo heels have massacred my tootsies!

Well done for getting straight back on it girl!

And you look absolutely stunning, so elegant xxxx

Thanks jess!

Right, back on it with a fast day today. Feeling a bit bloated after yesterday - not sure why but glad I can pull it back with a 500 cal day!

Muller Greek (90)
Strawbs (~30)
Butternut squash ratatouille (~300)
2 pink wafers (80)

Managed to get out of going to London but my blisters from yesterday are so bad I can't go for a run :( Will try tomorrow if they stop hurting - evil little mofos!

Can't believe it's Thursday already. Amazing! Loads on the to do list though - my boss is back from holiday on Monday and have some things I need to get finished by then.

Have lovely days girls xxxx

Hi there, I've subscribed as you do the 5:2 and I take it you incorporate SW with the 5:2? How do you find the fast days? Xx Sent from my iPhone using MiniMins

Hey Laura,

Yes I do 5 SW days and 2 fast days. They are much easier than I thought they would be! The key (a bit like sw) is being organised.

I've seen great results from adding in the fast days; I would definitely recommend giving it a go.

Will go and find your diary now :) xx

Ooh nice shoes = no running the next day - sounds like a good deal to me ;) haha

The week has gone super fast hasn't it! I think the summer months do tend to fly by!

I'm sure you'll get it done before they get back :p

You look absolutely incredible Sarah! That outfit is beautiful on you - very good call! Sorry to hear about your poor little feet though :(

Some blister plasters might help?!

Good luck with the fast day - you were a complete SW angel yesterday... can't believe you went for a carbonara over a takeaway  you star! xx

Aww thanks Lil! I've got 3 blisters and can only find one blister plaster! Dave has taken the car to work today but will pop out and get some more later. It's my own fault...they were a replacement pair for another Aldo pair I'd worn out and I should have remembered how much they hurt to start with and how long they took to break in. I also wore them with bare feet...school girl error!!!

Have managed not to eat anything yet but getting pretty hungry so looking forward to some fruit and yoghurt for lunch. It's so gorgeous outside - I so wish I had the day off!!

Blister plasters are the best! Really sorted out my heels a couple of weeks ago haven't worn them since I need to try again!

Hope you've had a good day xx

They are so clever aren't they! Deffo need to get some more :) it's quite rare for heels to hurt me so I don't often need them xx

Best fast day dinner yet - so yum! And used fry light instead of the oil in the recipe so saved enough calories to have 1/2 a Morrisons sun dried tomato ciabatta roll.

Morning gorgeous ones!

It's only flippin' Friday! Couldn't be happier about that!

Awesome fast day yesterday and pretty happy with what the scales are saying. Hopefully all the manual labour this weekend (we're laying decking!) will help me get a good result on Monday morning.

Plan for today is EE:
B - melon, strawberries and banana with a 0% Activia
L - Ainsley couscous with tomatoes, peppers, cucumber and wafer thin chicken
D - We are recreating an epic salad we had in Champagne last year for my parents tonight. Sliced potatoes fried (in Frylight, obvs!), gorgeous salad with a balsamic dressing with goats cheese toasts (HEXA + HEXB) and bacon medallions. Super excited about that! Going to treat myself to a decent size glass of super chilled white wine (6) and probably some ice cream for pudding (3 syns of Walls Soft Scoop Light) with some more strawbs.

Feeling really sleepy and headachey this morning after the storms woke me up about 5 times in the night! Was it as bad for everyone else? I've never seen such bright lightning in this country - it was like being in the Caribbean! Having a pint of cucumber water to start the day and looking forward to my breakfast...mmm fruity, yoghurty goodness!!

Good morning beautiful girl!

Ooh what did the scales say? :) I think your manual labour will pay off!

Food is sounding lovely and fresh today and the salad sounds divine!

No lightening up here though I think it is on it's way looking outside!

xxxx

Found you! Storms were terrible here last night - it was so hot though so I really wanted the windows open :( terrible sleep!

Your dinner sounds amazing! I'm never creative enough for things like that. I'm such a meat and two veg girl I struggle to think outside the box (thank god for minis inspiration!)

Quick question on the fast days - how do you find doing them in a relationship? Do you give him the same as you but more? I have a feeling I'd get serious dinner envy... x

Jessy - scales are 10.6 so 2lb loss and keeps me on track for my 2lbs a week loss to be 10st again for my birthday. Fingers crossed! xx

Pippa - me too, it was so unbelievably hot but the storm was so loud! The poor cat was terrified, bless her. Things do feel a bit fresher and less humid today though, which is nice.

I love minis for inspiration. I've got a fair repertoire of SW meals I love but we tend to keep them in rotation so need to shake things up! Stevie's pizza topped chicken is a winner if you fancy something super filling on a red day (with carrot/BNS chips). Yum! Risotto is my current fave on green days.

I'm very lucky that Dave's been doing some fast days with me (he gets 600 cals) as he's cycling to Brussels next week and has been working to get to his ultimate cycling weight (which he's done, bless him!) If one of us isn't on a fast, we tend to have a bigger lunch (separately) so we can have the same tea. Or, like you say, one of us will just have more. I've found a couple of fab recipes recently - Jamie Oliver's aubergine dhal is fab and easily tweakable for 5:2 and the butternut squash rattatouille I made yesterday was awesome too - recipe is on the Daily Mail website, oddly enough! Most of the calories come from olive oil so I replaced in with Frylight so we had enough cals to share a yummy bread roll.

xx
