Some of the tempting recipes on the forum use Scan brans. When I asked my leader about these she said they are an old product and that we couldn't use them. So can I get hold of them, and if so where?
Thanks :)

so are they tasty, or like cardboard? :)

our consultant sells them too - have never tried them myself though x

they're like carpet tiles!

i ate some for my lunch once and i actually wretched whilst chewing them because they're so dry! i managed to drink about 1.5 litres of water with them to try and wash them down...it was more of a ordeal than a meal! lol

oh i wouldnt every buy them again, they swell as u chew them and you need ALOT of water to get them down!!!
would rather eat ryvitas, at least they can be chewed and have dif flavours!!!

i agree - ryvita are like luxury compared to scanbran!

my mother in law makes a nice cinnemon cake from them, not sure of the ingredients but she got the recipe from her consultant who still sells them

are scan bran free? or synned? x

If you check out the recipe thread there are some scrummy cakes you can make with scan bran, i wouldn't eat them straight out of the pack, but i always use them to make the parkin cake, which i have with yoghurt and some raspberries, yummy!!:D

thanks, perhaps I'll buy some to try in recipes then

my consultant has just started selling them. Some of the guys tell me that they are not very nice - they say it is better to use allbran or ryvita. I have never tried them though
