I'm currently cooking Schwartz Beef & Ale Stew in my slow cooker ready for dinner tonight (smells amazing already...must not pick!) But I'm rather confused about the syn value. I found an old thread which said the mix is 6syns, but is that without the Ale - do I need to calculate the packet mix & Ale separately? (I've used Spitfire Amber Ale) The meal will be split between 4. Has anyone made this and have some advice please?
