Secret Slimming in Paris

I had ratatouille for tea too :D Nommy roasted veg!!

Wow, almost 2k for an apartment is insane!! My sister's house is worth around £180k I think, but they got it reduced a little because the guy wanted a quick sale and they went to view it the day after it went on the market and were first in. It's lovely and less than 5 mins from our house:) We live in the suburbs, about 25min drive from the city centre. xx

I'm the same, I need to know what I'm having in advance. As I type this I'm making Chris decide what he wants for tea this weekend so I can decide whether I'm having red/green/ee days! Lol, must be such a nightmare going out with a slimming worlder, he hates planning! :D

Oh I'm lucky! Fabien is quite easy to please and leaves his meals up to me! He doesn't like certain veg and would rather not eat than eat salad so I try and bare that in mind but if worst comes to worst he uses it as an excuse to have a take-away!

180k is a steal! She def got lucky there! Oh that's so nice that you live so close together. I know how hard it is to live miles away from your family

The ratatouille was so good! And really quick too as I had a pack of frozen veg in the freezer :D

I watched Freedom Writers last night, the one with Hilary S**** and I cried the whole way through! I had my headphones on as F was watching football and he was actually worried at one point I was sobbing so much! I loved it though.

Having a pretty relaxed day today. I've been catching up on some work this morning, it always feels funny sending e-mails to colleagues etc when I'm in my PJs! It's almost as if they know!

Going out for coffee with friends later. Need to make sure I only have 1 coffee, really need to save my pennies!

Food today so far:

Breakfast: banana & FFNY
Lunch: Ham & egg salad
Dinner: chicken thigh, cauli & leek mash with 30g cheese (HEA) & side salad

Just on my way back. Friends have gone on to a bar but I can't really afford to pay a 5er for a coke! At least I managed to do a bit of socialising on the cheap!

We went to an American diner. I got a refillable coffee for 2.50, one friend got chicken nuggets and a milkshake and the other got a cheese burger and chips. Glad I had lunch before I left or I'd have caved! Those milkshakes are gorgeous!

I'm starving again now though, going to have chicken and cauli mash for dinner with a side salad I reckon - get me home quickly!x

I just had the most awesome dinner!

I marinated a chicken thigh in soy sauce, lea & perrins and some crushed garlic then oven roasted it. I then boiled some cauliflower & leeks in a stock cube, drained and blitzed with the hand mixer, added some crunchy bacon and finely chopped red onion & finished with 30g cheese and a side salad - it was loooooovely!

I LOVE SW!!

Ooh that sounds delicious! A lovely way to finish off a lovely day. Bet you felt good for avoiding the milkshake and all the other baddies.
I did but I did allow myself 1 naughty chip! Didn't actually enjoy it that much! It's been over 3 months since I've had fast food chips and I think I've gone off them! My SW concoction was so much nicer!

Bienvenue!! Hope my diary isn't too too boring! Please excuse my terrible spelling! I've gone 5 years writing very little in English and I find myself Frenching things up all the time!x

Hello lovely ladies.

I'm feeling really hungry today which is bad with WI looming tomorrow! I've spent the morning putting away my winter woollies and came across the size 20 jeans I was so happy to fit into a few weeks ago. I tried them on and they are so big! I am definitely a size 18 in jeans now :D NSV! I've been wearing my infamous RI jeans too, but I have to wear them with a belt tightened to the tightest knot as the first day I had them on they almost fell down when I was running for the train.

I can barely believe the progress I've made so far :) it almost doesn't feel real. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for a good loss tomorrow though ;).

I've had a good morning cleaning and organising my book cases (it sounds sad, I know, but I'm always so much happier when things are clean and tidy!)

F is back from refereeing so we're going to have a quiet afternoon in and maybe play chess. Although I'm really not very good and I'm a bad loser...so then again we might not!

Right, I need to go and make some lunch before I chew my arm off! x

Breakfast: 2 'fried' eggs, banana & FFNY
Snack: dairylea light (HEA) wrapped in ham
Dinner: chicken stirfry (it was so nice! First time I've prepared the veg for it myself and I actually preferred it to the M&S one!)
Snack: strawberries & pineapple

So, written down it doesn't look like it's a lot but I've been to the fridge & back so many times to get another strawberry, another slice of ham etc. and had 2 chicken thighs and a massive plate of stirfried veg...so much for a light pre-WI day!

I'm not overly confident for tomorrow as I'm feeling very bloated, but we'll see.

x

Hey hun, sounds like a lovely day, hope you enjoy your afternoon. I like been nice and organised too so bet you feel better for getting sorted.

Well done on the jeans, must be great to get into an 18! I'm a 16/18 in tops now but my annoyingly large bum is still between 20/22 in trousers, will be awesome to get it down to an 18 so I can shop everywhere.

Good luck for WI tomorrow, I always hate the day before as I'm watching like a hawk everything I put in my mouth, grrr! I'm sure you'll do fab anyway, you've done great this week so deserve a good loss xx

p.s just saw you posted, if you'fe feeling bloated drink LOADS of water, sounds kinda counter productive but your body will stop holding onto it as much I promise ya x

Thaaaaanks, Bev :D.

That's great that you're in 16/18! My problem is my arms which are still really big and I think not proportional to the rest of my body. When I try non-elasticated tops on my arms just won't fit! But I guess they'll go down over the next few months. Got to keep believing! You are losing so much and so doing so well that you'll be in the 18s before you know it :)

You must be so excited for your holiday with your new bod!

Thanks for the advice :D I'm on my second 2 litre bottle, hoping it will help!! x

I'm the same with the arms! I'm a 16 in most strappy tops, but for anything with arms in then its an 18 and quite snug on the arms! They've gone down loads since I started but I still can't wait to lose some more off them. Doing a bingo wing workout at the gym that will hopefully help.

I can't wait for my hols, the only problem is I have NOTHING to wear! Last time I went away somewhere hot was Lanzarote in Oct and I was 22st, I should be in the 18's with a bit of luck for Tunisia and everything fits like a tent. Definitely gonna get myself to Primark and get some new stuff. Don't want to spend a fortune though when I've still got a long way to go.

The water should def help, you might need to pee loads in the night though! :D xxxx

Evening hun :), hope your well, just going to add my 2 cents about the arm exercises. I've got major bingo wings too :p. Last year when I used to have a personal trainer, he used to make me do chair dips, they are fab for toning the arms. I found a video on chair dips on youtube to share with you. It's very simple to do and can even be done at home using a chair :).

Glad I'm not the only one! It's frustrating, isn't it?

That Primark trip will be fantastic :D. Primark has just come to France but the first shop they've opened is way out in the suburbs. I'm definitely going next Saturday but it will mean taking 2 trains a tram and a bus! Primarni is worth it ;) I know what you mean about not wanting to spend much when we've still got a way to go. I find it quite sad that I can't wear some clothes any more...I had a really nice, pretty work shirt that just looks so unflattering now!

Thanks for the water tip! I think it's thanks to the water that I got my 3 stone award today! xxxx

Oh Kay, thank you so much! That's so sweet! I've just had a look at it now and my OH was watching over my shoulder, he's very sporty and got excited and made me stop typing to go and try it haha! It huuuurts! But I guess if it doesn't hurt it's not doing anything :).

Thank you very much! xxxx

So, just weighed in and it's another whopping 2kg

Needless to say I'm very happy! That means over 3 stone in 13 weeks, just over 3 months :D

I am going to really enjoy my green day today! I made rice pudding again last night in the slow cooker, I'm going to devour it this evening!

Hope everyone has a great day!
xx

Woweeeeee! Well done lovely lady you're certainly shifting it! That's fantastic bet you're feeling so much better xx

Woohoooo! What a fantastic loss, great numbers 2 weeks in a row now too, must feel amazing!

Well done on your 3st award, 3st in 3 months is incredible, you're doing so well. No wonder your old work shirt doesn't fit you with all that lost!

Enjoy your trip to Primark this weekend, hopefully you'll find loads of great bargains. :) Have a lovely day, I always love the day of WI when I lose as I just can't stop smiling! xxx
